Limited Edition Print by John Dyer. Cool Cockatoos under the Hot Sun. Banrock Station Wine Australia.
A rich purple sky with the burning Australian sun shining down on the wetlands of Banrock Station. Sulpher crested cockatoos fly past the gum trees and roost amongst the grapes in the vineyard. A kangaroo hops past the juicy purple grapes ripening in the Austalian sun. A really stunning print from Banrock Station's artist in residence John Dyer.
"The vineyards flourish on the well drained sandy loam soils above the valley. The hot summer sun demands that the vines are irrigated to keep them alive. Careful irrigation is dripped to the vine and shady vine canopies produce premium bunches of grapes for our wines. The gregarious sulphur-crested cockatoos gather and screech in the gums and in the cool vineyard."

Gorgeous colours and such attention to detail
I absolutely adore John's paintings! I first heard of him a year or two ago when I bought a greetings card of his and saw details of his website on the back. Now I am hooked! His pictures are really addictive - I now have nearly 30 - mainly prints and a few posters. Every piece is fantastic - such gorgeous colours and such attention to detail. If I had more funds I would buy some of John's original paintings but his prints and posters are extremely well produced and give me great pleasure. They have turned my small flat into a super flat! I cannot recommend John's work any more highly.
