Limited Edition Print by John Dyer. Martha-Lilly Hill. Banrock Station Wine Australia.
Stunning red sky with Australian yellow and ochre coloured outback sands are covered in flowering rain lilies. Pelicans and Australian choughs fly across the landscape and float on the bright blue and red water. An exceptionally rich print by John Dyer from his residency in Australia with Banrock Station wine capturing the colours and essence of this amazing ancient landscape.
"Rain is precious in the desert. After slow soaking rains the rain lily quickly springs to life on the sandy terraces of the river valley for a short burst of flowering. The red floating fern Azolla forms carpets in Banrock Creek that are undone by pelicans landing. Thirsty red gum trees hug the water's edge."

What a wonderful picture !
What a wonderful picture! Such vibrant colours! This print is also at the framers to pick up tomorrow. This will be part of a quartet with orange around the mount and washed white frames. Three of the pictures are of Banrock Stn, Wine and the other of Freeze -Dried Poatoes, Isla Taquile, Peru. All four will look stunning together. I have many of John's prints but I always get excited to receive more and to get them back from the framers. Well done John!
