Limited Edition Print by John Dyer. Bouncing by the Gum Tree. Banrock Station Wine Australia.
Painted in the Australian outback by John Dyer during his Banrock Station Wine residency. This print captures the earthy warm colours & brilliant light of the outback. In the foreground we can see ants and baby gum trees. I the mid-ground a kangaroo jumps past the vines & beyond the wetlands at Banrock can be seen. People sip their wine of the terrace under parasols, parots fly overhead. Perfect.
"The Wine and Wetland Centre of Banrock Station sits on a ridge overlooking the River Murray Valley. It is the hub where visitors can taste our wines and be launched into the amazing story of state of the art vineyards and restored wetlands along walking trails through the property. Typically blue skies with wispy clouds, rare regent parrots, kangaroos and coloured fruits of the ruby saltbush frame the vineyards and wetlands."
