St Ives is one of Cornwall’s most popular tourist destinations, but long before it was a draw for visitors this sweeping hillside fishing village in the west of Cornwall was a haven for artists. Today, St Ives remains abuzz with studios, workshops and galleries. It’s also a foodie destination in its own right with its own Food & Drink Festival taking place on 14 and 15 May 2016
An out of season blast of fresh Cornish air and colour at Pedn Vounder beach is just what we need to get our creative souls refreshed and ready to go as we expect the better weather to arrive in the next few weeks.
Vogue have selected a John Dyer original painting to feature in their 'Live in Luxury' section in the May 2016 issue.
The painting titled "Seapinks and Sunshine, Godrevy" was painted by the artist on the cliffs at Godrevy and is a wonderful example of the artist's work. Vogue commented to the artist "Your artwork looks really striking on the page" and we agree.
