Artist Spring Gardening Day

Published on 03/13/2011

We have been enjoying the spring sun and Cornish blue sky today in the garden.

We love colour and form and we are really pleased that our bananas have survived the winter again. They are growing like mad at the moment and stand about 12ft tall !

Lots of colour appearing and the stunning red tulips are just begging to be painted.

Flowers are bursting open all over the place and the warmth in the sun is bringing life to everything it touches.

We carfully plant up our garden pots each autumn so that we get a splash of colour to paint in the spring. Popping the tulips into the soil in the autumn is a bit like squeezing tubes of paint out for us as we can see the results in our mind.

Enjoy the sun !
