John Dyer is supporting animal charity 'Born Free' with two limited edition prints donated to their online auction to raise funds for orangutans. Founded in 1984, the charity works tirelessly to ensure that all wild animals, whether living in captivity or in the wild, are treated with compassion and respect. Funds raised from the auction will go to support the Orangutan Foundation and the vital work with orangutans in Borneo.
Wedding anniversaries are celebrated with a range of gifts linked to a series of categories. Artist Joanne Short has been working with Visit Somerset to inject a dash of art to their latest publicity. Something to look forward to later in the year, once travel restrictions are hopefully eased a little as Coronavirus is taken under control, are the wonders of the Somerset landscape and many attractions.
Cornish artist John Dyer has a dramatic and colourful style that fans describe as ‘life-enhancing’. Now he is using his skills to help a famous wildlife charity, the Born Free Foundation, says PHILIP BOWERN
The coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic has forced many millions of people around the UK and the world to have to work from their homes. At first, the novelty of working from home offsets the downsides and making do is ok, but eventually, it is important to make the space you work in a beautiful place to be.
Cornwall’s premier literary festival will once again feature a diverse range of authors, speakers, musicians, and artists including John Dyer who will be in conversation with Kate Dinn, the author of Painting the Colours of the World, the spectacular and colourful new book about the artist’s life and work.
