Cornish artist Joanne Short continues to produce stunning colourist oil paintings. As one of the elite Newlyn Society of Artists she has gained a huge following over the past twenty five years of exhibiting in Cornwall & London. Her latest paintings are available exclusively on our gallery. Joanne has a unique way of working. Her elegant use of line creates beautifully composed canvases with an exquisite use of colour. As a keen gardener Joanne's paintings often feature flowers and sub-tropical plants that she grows at her garden studio for inspiration.
Joanne has been the artist in residence for the National Trust's St Michael's Mount, the island of Tresco and the Hanbury Gardens in Italy.
Collectors of her work include Alan Titchmarsh and Toyah Willcox, as well as thousands of other private individuals.
